Call Out Engineer - Based from the East Coast Regional Office (East Coast Region)

We require an experienced Call Out Lift Engineer to join our Eastern division.

Reporting into the Hull office and covering a route within the East Yorkshire and Lincolnshire, the successful applicant will undertake tasks including:

  • Carrying out all aspects of lift repairs
  • Corrective maintenance, minor repairs and servicing
  • Participating in an out of hours call out on a rota'd basis

Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, have great customer service skills and have the ability to show a high standard of workmanship whilst working under minimum supervision.

Ideally you will have previous experience of:

  • Qualified to or above NVQ2 or equivalent
  • Valid driving license - as company van is provided for the role

Escalator Engineer (London North Regional Office)

We require an experienced Escalator Engineer to carry out routine servicing, corrective maintenance and minor repairs to customers’ escalators.

Escalator Engineer (Bristol)

Escalator Engineer – South West

We require an experienced NVQ 3 qualified Escalator Engineer to carry out routine servicing, corrective maintenance and minor repairs to customers’ escalators.

The role will be based out of our Bristol office, covering the South West and Northampton surrounding area.

Field / Test Engineer (National)

Field Engineer/Tester – based Nationally

We require a Test Engineer, the role will involve the testing of MRL, Hydraulic and Traction lifts to BS 8486 as well as working with the Project Manager and our direct and sub-contract installation teams to ensure that all lifts are handed over to clients to a high standard of quality.

Previous experience relating to the testing of lifts and fault finding is required for this role and it would be desirable, but not essential, to hold a current CSCS card or Safety Passport. Ideally the candidate will be NVQ4 qualified or be working toward this qualification.                                                                                                                    

A full driving licence is essential for this role as is the ability to be able to produce technical reports of tests and site visits carried out. The applicant must be willing to travel as the role will be predominantly site based.

Lift Installation Engineer (London North Regional Office)

Lift Installation Improver (London North Regional Office)

Loading Bay Industry - Repair Supervisor (Leeds)

We have a requirement for an experienced Repairs Supervisor with commercial focus and excellent supervisory skills working for our Loading Systems Northern Operations Department in the Leeds region.

 

The candidate will be responsible for carrying out site surveys covering northern England and Scotland in order to produce customer quotations from our Service Management System.

 

To also process Repair jobs from cradle to grave including the management of a Repair Team.

 

The candidate must have experience in this industry (A mixture of Dock Levellers, Industrial Doors, Scissor lifts and Wheel restraints) to provide support with technical queries as required.

 

You should also have relevant qualifications along with an Engineering and/or Electrical/Mechanical background.

 

Previous experience of leading a team and customer relationship management within a service sector environment is advantageous.

 

The candidate must be fully IT literate with experience of quoting & processing repairs through a full cycle to completion.

 

A full driving licence is also essential.

Loading System Engineer (Sittingbourne)

We require an experienced Service engineer to join our Loading Systems team, based from our Midlands office.

Primarily covering the area of Sittingbourne, also in and around London, Northhampton and Milton Keynes.

The successful applicant will undertake tasks including:

·Maintenance and remedial repairs of Loading Systems products including sectional doors, roller shutters, dock levellers, scissor lifts, wheel restraints and ancillary equipment.

·Engineers will be required to join the standby rota on completion of training.

Loading Systems Project Engineer (Central / Midlands)

Due to continued growth, we require an experienced Loading Systems Project Engineer to join our Projects Division.

This is a national role and ideally the candidate would be from the Central or Midlands area of the UK.  

The successful applicant will undertake tasks including:

·         Installation and removals of:- Sectional doors, Roller shutters, High speed doors,

          Dock levellers, Scissor lifts, Wheel restraints and ancillary equipment.

 

·         Working on own and also part of a 2 or 3 man team.

 

·         Occasional requirements to work with the Service division on planned Repairs

          and / or attend breakdowns.    

     

The Ideal candidate will be from a Door Installation background with Electrical qualifications. CSCS / IPAF / PASMA and Fork lift truck qualifications are also advantageous.

Self-motivated and have the ability to show a high standard of workmanship whilst working under minimum supervision.

The candidate should ideally also have experience of:

·         Installation / maintenance and repairs of all types of Loading Bay Equipment.

 

·         Handheld device knowledge – you will be required to use customer log on

          systems and company tablets.

 

·         Working independently and as part of a team.

 

·         The ability to weld and fabrication experience would also be beneficial.

Multi Skilled Engineer (Bristol)

We require an experienced Regional multi skilled engineer / trouble shooter to join our Lift Maintenance & Repair business stream.

Working in and around the South West region the successful applicant will undertake tasks including:

·             Carrying out site surveys to ensure that the correct quotes are submitted

·             Follow up items reported by engineers on service / call out / repair reports

·             Identify and investigate defects listed on insurance reports

·            Working on Pickerings lift management systems , training will be provided

·            Compiling and submission of quotes when required using above system

·            Assist Customer Support Managers with engineers appraisals

·            Carry out engineers site / quality audits

·            Conduit between the engineers and the office for technical advice / support

·            Troubleshoot when required

·            Assist with service call out / repairs when required to do so

·            Investigate Repeat call outs

Ideal candidates will be self-motivated and have the ability to show a high standard of workmanship whilst working under minimum supervision.

Ideally you will have previous experience of:

·              Good knowledge of all aspects of maintenance and repairs or similar            experience in an allied trade

·              May suit engineer who is looking to move into the office environment

·              Assisting Management
